Release v0.61.0
Apr 07, 2026
Real-time device status updates, pre-configured installer downloads, remote desktop viewer auto-update, and redesigned Add Device experience.
Added
- Real-Time Device Status — device online/offline changes and version updates now appear instantly in the dashboard without refreshing the page, powered by a new event push system.
- Pre-Configured Installer Downloads — download Windows MSI or macOS PKG installers pre-loaded with your enrollment key directly from the Add Device dialog. Choose a site, set a device count, and hand the installer to your customer.
- Public Installer Links — generate shareable download URLs for each enrollment key so site contacts can install the agent themselves without dashboard access.
- Viewer Auto-Update — the Breeze remote desktop viewer app now updates itself silently in the background.
- Agent 'Updating' Status — devices now show 'Updating' instead of 'Offline' during the brief restart window after a self-update, so you know the agent isn't actually down.
- Discovery Quick Filters — chip-style filters on the discovered assets tab let you quickly filter by scan profile or subnet.
Improved
- Redesigned Add Device dialog with two tabs: 'Download Installer' as the primary flow for packaged installs, and 'CLI Commands' for the token-based enrollment flow.
- User invite form now shows a searchable organization dropdown instead of requiring manual entry of org IDs.
- Decommissioned devices are now hidden from the default device list — no more scrolling past retired machines.
- Dashboard warning and critical alert icons are grayed out when their count is zero for a cleaner look.
- macOS desktop helper now tracks console user changes and tears down stale sessions automatically.
Fixed
- Fixed Linux agent auto-update failing with 'text file busy' errors on manual installs — the updater now properly handles the in-use binary.
- Fixed agent update jitter causing a 0–60 second delay before the new version reports in after a self-update.
- Fixed event WebSocket ticket route missing authentication.
v0.61.0 makes your dashboard feel alive — device status changes show up the instant they happen instead of waiting for the next polling cycle. When a device comes online, goes offline, or finishes an update, you’ll see it immediately.
The Add Device experience is completely redesigned around packaged installers. Instead of copying enrollment commands, you can now download a ready-to-run MSI or PKG that’s pre-configured with your enrollment key and site assignment. For customer-managed installs, generate a shareable download link and send it directly. The remote desktop viewer app also now updates itself silently in the background, so your technicians always have the latest version.
