v0.13.12 beta

Release v0.13.12

Mar 23, 2026

AI-powered configuration policies, automated service monitoring, and a software video encoder for GPU-less systems.

Added

  • AI Configuration Policies — tell the AI assistant to create, update, or check compliance of configuration policies across your fleet. The AI validates your intent against the policy schema before making changes.
  • Fleet Service Monitors — set up automated service monitoring and auto-approval rules through the AI assistant with built-in guardrails to prevent overly broad configurations.
  • OpenH264 Software Encoder — remote desktop now works on systems without GPU video encoding by automatically downloading and using Cisco's OpenH264 software encoder. Includes stall detection that recovers the stream if the encoder hangs.

Fixed

  • Fixed AI chat tool cards showing 'Running...' after the action had already completed.

Configuration management gets an AI upgrade. You can now ask the Breeze AI assistant to create and manage configuration policies, check fleet-wide compliance, and set up service monitors — all through natural language. The AI validates every change against the policy schema and applies tiered guardrails to prevent dangerous configurations.

For remote desktop, we’ve added a software video encoder that automatically kicks in on systems without GPU support. The OpenH264 encoder downloads on first use from Cisco’s CDN (verified with SHA-256), and a stall detector recovers the stream if the encoder gets stuck — so you get a working remote desktop even on bare-metal servers and VMs without a GPU.
