Breeze RMM listed on the Open MSP directory

We’re pleased to announce that Breeze RMM is now listed on Open MSP, the community-driven directory helping managed service providers discover open-source tools and reduce software costs.

What Is Open MSP?

OpenMSP.ai is a comprehensive directory and comparison platform built for the MSP community. Their mission is straightforward: help providers cut software costs by 30-50% by surfacing open-source alternatives, publishing transparent pricing data, and connecting MSPs with peers who’ve already made the switch.

The platform offers three things:

  • A vendor directory with pricing, reviews, and side-by-side comparisons
  • Curated open-source alternatives with setup guides and GitHub links
  • A community hub where MSPs share implementation experiences and ask questions

It’s run by Flamingo AI, Inc. and has become a go-to resource for providers evaluating their tool stack.

Why This Matters

The RMM market has been dominated by legacy vendors for a long time. ConnectWise, Datto, NinjaOne — they’ve built solid products, but the pricing models haven’t kept up with how MSPs actually want to operate. Per-device fees that scale linearly with your client base. Feature tiers that gate basic functionality behind enterprise plans. Contracts that lock you in before you’ve finished evaluating.

Breeze takes a different approach. It’s open-source under the AGPL-3.0 license. Self-hosted. Unlimited devices. All 44 modules included. No per-device fees. The entire platform — device management, remote access, patch management, SNMP monitoring, AI-assisted remediation — is available from day one.

Being listed on Open MSP puts Breeze in front of the exact audience that benefits most from this model: MSPs who are actively looking for alternatives and aren’t afraid to self-host.

For MSPs Evaluating Tools

If you’re currently paying per-device fees and wondering whether an open-source RMM can actually handle production workloads, the Open MSP directory is a great place to start your research. Compare Breeze against the commercial options side by side. Read what other providers are doing. Check the community hub for real implementation stories.

And if you want to try Breeze directly, you can be up and running in under 10 minutes with Docker Compose. No sales call required.
